Wednesday we had a pretty fun evening. I met with Mr P, whom I last photographed at a couple weeks old. He is now 7.5 months old. It was HOT and sticky outside, seemingly perfect for a dip in a metal tub. Mr P was not so sure about that. The water was cold! His sassy sister enjoyed toting around the balloons and soaping her own hair. All the balloons popped from the sharp weeds before the session ended. Thanks for the fun evening.

Three pints of SASSY

I love these girls! We used to hang out when we lived in Utah several years ago. I photographed the twins shortly after birth and several times since then. They were part of the madness in the park! Three full sessions in less than two hours. Their parent's have their hands full with these three firecrackers.
Growing Up FAST
The little lady with cute curly hair is my old neighbor. She is a bit older than my daughter. Since we moved Miss O welcomed a baby sister. They met me at the park for a quick session. I apologize to Sally and Chris for being late. We had some miscommunication about the time and location. Still we had a fun session! Thanks for the crazy time.

Expressive
These two little ones were soooooo expressive! They belong to my amazing long-time friend, Sarah. I love this girl so very much. She is about the happiest, spunkiest person alive. I am quite the opposite, so our friendship was, well, a miracle. Sarah has some serious style too. She loves bright colors just like I do. I cannot believe her kid's eyes. Ah-Maz-Ing.

B is for Beaver
Meet a great bunch of folks! They are like family to me since I crashed about half of their family parties for a couple years when I ran wild and free. Since my Sis-in-law decided to marry my brother this family became me family....muhahaha. You will never get away. ever. Little Samantha Rainbow (a potential name the sisters wanted to name the youngest) decided not to smile after her aunt drove off in their van leaving her with a crazy lady. No amount of coaxing cracked this little soul...until the van came back. I resorted to gnawing bark off a nearby tree like a beaver and popping a rock or two into my mouth. She finally smiled for me. Hooray! Thanks for a memorable evening.

Dream Session
OK! When a photographer meets a trendy family it is amazing, when a photographer is related to a trendy family it rocks the charts. Meet my brother, his wife, and baby E. My brother moved into a new home a while back. The backdrop for our photoshoot is what they see everyday. I just love that my SIL's colors were vivid teal, so delicious against the yellows of evening in Utah. Makes me drool.

Marshmellows
This little lady was so not interested in me or taking photos with her parents. All she wanted was to explore...and eat from my marshmellow bag. She gave me the silliest expressions when I would not indulge her desire for sugar. I photographed her when she was a month old (see here). Her mom is related to my Sis in law. These were taken at dusk out in Eagle Mt, Ut.
Expected Blessings
Meet my gorgeous cousin. She is expecting her first child, a girl in the next week or so. She asked me to take a couple photos to document her stage of life. I thought she was hilarious because she kept saying, I don't know how to pose. LOL, pretty amazing for an amateur there cuz.
My Grandpa's Funeral
It was amazing! I lived with my grandparents for 3 years while I finished my graduate school work. Those 3 years are some of the best years of my life. I grew to really love and know my mother's side of our family. My baby has big shoes to fill if he is to be like my grandpa just like he is named.
