Christmas Love

I LOVE the last photo...this is totally my little princess: preening in her new Snow White costume. What a little cutie. The other pictures were taken in natural light from a large picture west facing window, in front of the Christmas trees. The Snow White picture is light using a removable flash directed to the ceiling as a bounce light.

The Baby is Four Months OLD

Time FLIES!!!! Photos taken with two "hot" lights, Sony Alpha 200, 50mm lens, aperture 3.2, 400 ISO, 1/250 s...working on my skills using a white background.

Mr Man

My little man looks like an English Shephard! His expression cracks me up! I wish I had a studio with north facing windows like this one (was taken in a hotel room). The soft light and shadowing makes me giddy.

Good Friends

This cute...and funny couple came to see me about two weeks ago. Yikes! I did not want to post them until after she received her prints. So here they are! The husband reminds me of my Uncle who constantly razzes me about. I am loving the bold red color for the holidays. Enjoy!

Handsome Boy

My little one was blessed this past Sunday. A blessing is sort of like an infant christening, giving the child a name. After the blessing my little son cooed and cooed telling his Dad how awesome that experience was. Brought tears to my eyes! Isn't he handsome?

Smokin' Hot Senior

Can you spell G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S? Well, this little lady is stunning! Her eyes remind me of a tiger! Rawr! I had a great time photographing this senior's portraits. She was perfect! I did not have to bribe her with smarties or even threaten her with a time out. Love this GIRL.

Country Charm

Goodness! I loved the colors this family is wearing! We caught the perfect time of day when the light is all glowy and delicious for pictures. The little Misses are super cute...they sort of remind me of 1920's charm. Enjoy a taste from this photo shoot!

Rural Style

An awesome couple let us use this run down old house on their property for another photo shoot. The sepia tones seems to lend an air of timelessness to the setting. We ended up shooting the urban shots a couple days later because I did not like how these ones turned out. After a bit of editing to smooth out strong shadows and etc the pictures are growing on my better side!

Urban Retro

This family is near and dear to my heart. I love how stylish they are! My camera (or the handler) had trouble at our last photo shoot, which have not been processed yet. I fell in love with this shoot head over heels. For me it is much harder to photograph close family and friends because of the pressure to turn out stellar results. Hope you *love* these ones!!
