Practice Makes Perfect

Just practicing my newborn posing skills on my own new baby! Poor guy! He is a champ sleeper so that helps immensely! I absolutely love Kelley Ryden's work. She is AH-Mazing. I have a long way to go but practicing the poses are helping a bit. I really wish my bean bag was locatable amidst all the storage unit stuff. My little girl was a bit help...pushing my remote button and testing out the props.

Our Little Boy

Announcing our newest family member: PAC..LOL! He is one cute boy! Born 25 Aug at 8:03 pm, weighing in at 8 lbs 1 oz, 19 3/4 inches long. He is an awesome eater and sleeper! He could work on his burping skills. We are so excited to have him in our family.

Baby Blues

Yesterday a good friend brought over her little girl for 6 month old pictures. My current set up is rather temporary...meaning I have no place. For this shoot I grabbed my bar level glass dinner table and a furry mat. I pushed the couch back and used our large front window for light. The backdrop was the wall. Pretty simple! I was so glad the whole set up worked as I imagined. The mom brought a cute blanket and crocheted the baby's hat. Can you believe this baby's eyes? I honestly did little to no color editing on her eyes...they are really that blue! She was a great baby so the whole shoot lasted maybe 20 minutes. So here is little baby P:

Self-Portrait

Being in the last weeks of pregnancy sure makes a woman (me!) feel a bit off. I got a fun hair cut on Thursday reminiscent of my days as a service worker. It is easy and oh, so fun. Maybe the next 6-8 weeks will go by faster with a new style.

Patriotic Baby

I took my little toddler out for a short 10 minute photo shoot yesterday. She got very dirty on the old tractor...it was worth it!! I found her outfit last year at the Salvation Army. No handmade wonder this year. Well, the one exception is her hat and flower clip. Too cute.

Gaggle of Gals

How fun are these ladies? We met at Wheeler Farm for an hour of fun. I am really good friends with the gal in the jean jacket. She totally rocks!! She wanted some pictures of her mom, sister, and their children (all girls). The geese were quite entertaining! I had a little helper who helped me focus the kid's attention. Thanks for the fun time.

Can You Be More Gorgeous??

These pictures are from another class I took from Photo By Emilie yesterday. Everyone else cancelled so it was a one-on-one session! I brought my baby A and my sister-in-law as victims! This first batch is of C-note...as she is fondly called in my family circles. She made the cute dress!! She also made a wonderful poser...LOL.
